Van Ministry

Every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, our
church vans pick up people all over the surrounding areas who do not have
transportation to church. There are many children and teens in our area that
would never have the opportunity to attend a Bible-believing church were it not
for this dedicated ministry. If you need transportation, please call the church
office @ 910-326-4913.

Military Ministry

Freedom Way Free Will Baptist Church and all who
attend love, support, and appreciate the men and women of our armed forces. We
continually pray for our military and military families as we stand united with
all those who serve our country. We look at each person in our military as
being American heroes who defend our nation’s freedom.

Please know that our church is here to help you, serve
you, and encourage you in any way we can. We have many retired military and
active duty military families who attend our church. Please know that you are
always welcome at Freedom Way Free Will Baptist Church.

May God bless you, protect you, and encourage you.

Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the
Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all
thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path.”

Children’s Programs

We believe in having programs in place to minister to every age level. This policy includes our
young children as well. For our youngest children, we provide a NURSERY for
children 2 years and under during every service. We have workers who will
closely watch and spend quality time with these children.

For our children, ages 3 – 10, we have a JUNIOR CHURCH
and a CHILDREN’S CHURCH that meet during our Sunday morning worship hour. We
feel that when these children come to church that they need to take some
spiritual truths home with them just like the adults. So along with singing,
crafts, and other activities, we teach these children Bible stories and other
Biblical truths. Our goal is to set a spiritual foundation for them that they
can build on as they grow older.

On Sunday nights, we have a 3 – 5 YEAR OLD CLASS that
meets during our Bible study. We use this time just like the time for our
Junior Church and Children’s Church programs listed above.

On Wednesday nights, we have a PEE WEE PIRATES and
PATCH THE PIRATE CLUB for these age groups. During this time, these young
children learn the Word of God in a very fun and enjoyable atmosphere. They
have singing, crafts, and other activities that make these children look
forward to coming back week after week.

Our goal is to teach and train the children we have an
opportunity to minister to in such a way, that it sets a strong spiritual
foundation in their lives. Spiritual growth is a step by step process, and we
try to start that process as early as possible in the lives of the children who
attend our church.

The teens (7th-12th grades) have their own Bible Study class on Wednesday evenings.
Both classes are designed especially for their age and presents practical lessons that
will help them with the everyday challenges they face. We focus on subjects such as
Christian dating, music, being an example, finances, prayer, and numerous other topics
that hit home to teens. We believe in teaching our youth the Bible, which in return,
will help them make the right decisions in life while honoring Christ Jesus.
Each month the teens are involved in various activities that encourage Christian fellowship
(i.e. youth rallies, retreats, summer youth camp, conferences, etc.)
The teens also take trips to our Free Will Baptist colleges to expose them to schools of
higher learning with a Christian view of education.
